HERE'S A BIT MORE ABOUT MIKELLE : Mikelle's live performance and vocal delivery captures the attention of each audience every time she steps onto a stage. Mikelle is a dynamic young lady who has her sights set on becoming a formidable force in the world of entertainment. Mikelle was born and raised and makes her home in Nashville, Tennessee. She began dancing and singing at the age of six and has been honing her skills ever since, winning numerous prestigious National Awards in competitive dance against the Best of the Best in North America. At age six Mikelle also entered the world of acting and live theatre securing the role of Molly in the production of Annie. She has also appeared in a number of music videos to include at age eight a video for the award winning song " I Hope You dance". Mikelle's live concert performances are riveting as she delivers a vocal style that captures your immediate attention. She is a dynamic singer with an ability to touch an audience through her phrasing and interpretation of a lyric and an ability to bring a song to life. Mikelle's dance skills also allow her to present an exciting dynamic edge to her performances. Mikelle has been performing in excess of 150 live concerts per year over the past two years and is steadily building a fan base. Mikelle has captured the attention of Artist Manager Larry Gregson and myself and we have found her to be a most exciting artist to work with because of her soulful and dynamic vocal, her outstanding work ethic and quiet yet personable nature that she consistently displays. Mikelle is someone that you instantly like as a person and she is someone you can always count on to deliver a quality performance. Mikelle has been in the studio and has recorded seven new songs for her first album and we look forward to returning to the studio to record more new material.
